Topic: Hello to Everyone
I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I am so happy that there is a forum that we all can talk openly and freely without fear.

Hello to everyone! I am more than wililng to listen to anyone that needs to talk, just let me know! Peace, Sharon
Yeah that is the best part is the openly and freely. I have known I was gay for years but had to hide it bc I grew up in the foster care system. I have been out for almost 7 years now. Have had ups and downs but now I am who I am and that's all that matters.
I am always willing to listen to anyone. I have gone through lots as I not only came out but I am also a butch woman that came out in Minnesota. Not exceptable there and very not open to anyone that even looks like me.
Really random but I just want to say to Kylie that I absolutely lovvvve the name Kylie!! It is my all time favorite name
hey cassandra i currently have a crush on a very butch woman. hot hot hot that is all i can say
yummmy yummy
Kylie u r funny....so have u asked her out or just crushing?
I'm 34 and I am a small town butch woman who can totally relate. Always willing to chat with anyone and meet new people. I'm glad that there is a site like this for us to go to and share our lives with eachother .
I hear u there scooby dee...i have lived in some very small town. I kinda live in a small town now. Not too many butch women here. Nice to meet u
Hello Cassandra, It's always amazed me how stand offish most butch women are with each other you'd think that we'd want to be more friendlier since we understand what we are going thru. Infact most lesbians here don't even speak to me bcuz I am so openly butch and they are afraid of being catagorized as a lesbian by association. Oh well, I'm me and I'm not changing anytime soon. Nice to meet you too.
That is so true. The best is when the men get all freaked out that u r going to take all the women. Just makes me laugh. Yeah I had to hide for so many years. It wil NEVER happen again. This is who I am n if they don't like it then they don't have to be a part of my life.
Nice to meet u 2.
I haven't had to many problems with the men in this town, most are just curious and have for the most part accepted me as one of the guys. What gets me though is being called sir all the time, often times I just go along with it so as not to embarrass the person, but really it drives me insane cuz if they would take one second to look at me they would notice a couple very sure signs of my femminity. I guess it comes with the territory.
God do I ever hear u on being called sir. Just bc I love to have my short hair n wear shirts n ties doesn't mean I want to be called SIR!!!
I need anyone and everyones thoughts on the issue... Im currently working to promote LGBT equality in high schools across the nation. Should I remain a private sector and pursue goals that way but possibly be unable to apply for grants and scholarships. or should I take the time to turn this idea into a nonprofit organization? Thanks so much
